A Panel Discussion on Class, Colonialism and Climate Justice
COP30 in Belém did not mark a turning point. It reinforced a system that shields corporate power and the Global North. Market-based false solutions once again replaced justice, greenwashing extraction through the language of the green transition.
This was a consensus of surrender: profit over life, carbon markets over systemic change, and green colonialism dressed up as climate action.

The climate crisis is a class issue and a struggle over power. Responsibility lies with corporate empires and complicit governments—not with the world’s poorest.
The Berlin–Belém Protocol is our response: a space to link climate justice with anti-capitalist, anti-colonial, and anti-fascist struggles.
